Full Tilt Poker Review

Summary:
Unfortunately, we no longer can recommend Full Tilt Poker has been effectively shut down. Instead we recommend Bovada Poker. For non USA players check out Party Poker or 888 Poker.

Full Tilt Poker is a relatively new online poker room which was launched in 2004.  In only 3 years of service, Full Tilt is one of the largest online poker rooms around.

Some of this growth can be attributed to how well Full Tilt markets its product.  They have a huge team of pros that includes such well known players as - Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Phil Gordon and many others.  Many of these pros contribute strategy articles and tips to the players at Full Tilt.

Full Tilt Poker offers one of the best sign up bonuses around – a 100% first deposit bonus up to $600.  In other words deposit $600 and you get a $600 bonus.

The poker software at Full Tilt Poker is proprietary and you have the option of changing the look of the poker room to a hunting lodge to a space station, to the Vegas Skyline.  Most other online poker rooms just let you just change the color of the table.

I think that you will agree that the software is smooth with nice graphics and most importantly is very easy to use.  You won’t have to spend time trying to figure it out!

Full Tilt Poker gladly accepts players from the US.

Full Tilt Poker has many different deposit methods.  You can deposit funds to your Full tilt Poker account using eCeck, Visa, MasterCard, Click2Pay, Neteller and Moneybookers

Full Tilt Poker is easily one of the top online poker rooms in the world.  Size wise it’s in the class of PartyPoker and PokerStars.  At peak times you can find over 10,000 players online.  Many of them are playing no limit Holdem.  Quality wise it is in the same class as PokerStars and Bodog (Bodog’s definitely smaller but is one of my favorites to play Sit’ n go’s and for the cool tournaments).

Because of the size of Full Tilt it’s easy to find a table or a tournament at the level that you want.

Full Tilt Poker also offers Omaha and Stud poker.

At the lower limits the players are on the weaker side but as you would expect as the limits increase the quality of players do improve.  Of course, you’ll still find plenty of players who play at limits that are way too high for their skill level.  That of course is a good thing for the good players.

If you like to play at the higher limits then Full Tilt is a great choice for you.  As far as I am concerned Full Tilt and PokerStars are the top places to play high limit Texas Holdem.

My bottom line is that you just can’t go wrong with Full Tilt Poker.  I definitely think it is worth trying out.  And if you play on a Mac you are in luck as Full Tilt is Mac compatible.
