Bodog Poker Review

Summary:
Bodog is my personal favorite for Online Poker. The competition at the lower levels and mid levels are not all that great. I play sit n go's a lot there and do quite well. The software is very good and I think the 10% instant bonus is great. While it's not huge, you get it right away and can play with it immediately. Bodog accepts players from the USA.
**Bodog is currently offering an additional 100% match bonus up to $500 in addition to the 10% instant bonus.  This is a limited time offer so be sure to take advantage of it***
Bodog is more than just an online poker room. Bodog also has a great online casino and one of the most popular online sports books. I play blackjack at the online flash casino a lot as well. I've also been known to donate money at the sports book. I just don't donate it willingly!

Bodog bills itself as an Digital Entertainment Company with online gaming only being one component of that. They also have a record label, TV, and are mixed martial arts fight promoters.

Bodog.com Entertainment was founded in 1994 with its head office located in the Antigua. Bodog.com takes pride in being licensed in the United Kingdom and Kahnawake, Canada. In 2004, Bodog.com was the first company of its kind to have its name trademarked in the United States.

The poker software is exclusively Bodog's. You will find it simple, well laid out and easy to use.

Bodog offers a 110% bonus. When you sign up and make a deposit at Bodog you will instantly receive a 10% bonus credited to your account.  This instant bonus is available to you immediately. You will also receive a 100% match bonus up to $500.  At Bodog you never have to worry about playing a minimum number of hands to qualify for your bonus.

Play Online Poker

Bodog also offers 10% reload bonuses that you can take advantage of.

In addition to Texas Holdem Bodog also offers Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Card Stud, 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo and 5-Card Stud.

Customer service is top notch. When I first signed up they were very helpful in getting my account funded quickly and I also have never had an issue withdrawing funds. In 2006, Casino Player Magazine ranked Bodog.com No. 1 for having the best customer service and best casino promotions in the online gaming industry.

You can fund your account with your credit card, Neteller, Click2Pay, eWalletXpress and NuCharge. eWalletXpress is my personal choice when funding my Bodog poker account.  You can fund it with your bank account or your credit/debit card. When you are ready to fund your account with Bodog just visit the cashier for all your options.

The competition at Bodog isn't the greatest. You can find good players at Bodog but overall players tend to be on the weaker side. Most of my time at Bodog has been spent playing Sit n Go's where I have done very well. I don't play the large buy-in tournaments. I usually play those with $5, $8 or $10 buy-in and really like those. In my opinion, if you have never played in a sit n go, the beginner tournaments are a great place to start. You can find beginner Sit n go's that pay out to the top 5 finishers. I thought that was a great way to get started playing tournaments.

Play Online Poker

Bodog offers $5 million dollars guaranteed in tournaments each week. As with many other online poker rooms you can win seats to the most popular tournaments around. They also have the most unique and intriguing tournaments around, including Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker II where you were the top prize was winning your own reality TV show. Bodog is well known for these types of unique tournaments.  The latest unique Bodog tournament is their one-billionth hand promotion.

Bodog Special Promotion - 110% Bonus

Bodog is now offering the biggest bonus in their history - a 110% bonus.  Bodog will give you an instant 10% bonus that will be credited immediately to your account.  Bodog is also offering a 100% match bonus up to $500

All you have to do is sign up, make a deposit and start playing. Click here to claim your bonus!

You'll find plenty of action at the low and mid limit tables. When playing limit or no limit I usually start at the .50/$1 tables and then move to the $1/$2 tables. The upper limits at Bodog are a little lacking. PokerStars and Full Tilt are the best options for playing high stakes games.

My bottom line on Bodog is that it is my personal favorite place to play. The software is easy to use, I prefer getting an instant bonus and I really like their Sit n Go tournaments. I think if you play at Bodog you will like it just as much as I do. The only exception would be anyone that prefers to play high limit games.
